Genesis Youth Foundation empowers immigrant and refugee youth and families in Des Moines through programs that blend academic support, leadership development, and cultural enrichment. Rooted in African values and community connection, the organization helps young people succeed in school, grow in confidence, and celebrate their identities through arts, athletics, and service. By fostering belonging and opportunity, Genesis is building stronger futures for youth and their communities.

Al Éxito is a community-focused organization dedicated to empowering Latino students and families in Iowa through advocacy, mentorship, and leadership development. By fostering educational achievement and civic engagement, Al Éxito works to amplify Latino voices, support student success, and build a more inclusive future. Through partnerships, scholarships, and culturally affirming programs, Al Éxito creates opportunities for young people to lead with pride in their heritage and confidence in their potential.

iJAG (Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates) is a nonprofit organization that empowers middle and high school students to overcome barriers and achieve success in school, work, and life. Through a proven, career-focused program, iJAG equips students with academic support, leadership development, job readiness training, and real-world work experiences. With the help of dedicated specialists and strong partnerships with educators, employers, and community leaders, iJAG helps students graduate with a clear path to postsecondary education and meaningful careers.

The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) is the state’s largest business network, representing companies of all sizes and industries across Iowa. Founded in 1903, ABI is dedicated to advocating for pro-business policies, fostering economic growth, and developing Iowa’s workforce. The Iowa Cubs (I-Cubs) are the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, bringing exciting, family-friendly professional baseball to Des Moines.
